Without further ado, here are December’s events. See you there!
Fall Student Art Exhibit
The fall student art exhibit will be on display in the Daughtrey Gallery in the Fine Arts Building from Tuesday, December 3, through Friday, December 13. This student-juried exhibit features all levels of student works from fall semester studio courses. An awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 3, at 4 p.m. For gallery hours, click here.
Sunday, December 8: Advent Lessons and Carols
6 p.m., Christ Chapel
Join us for this not-to-be-missed holiday favorite in the magnificent Christ Chapel. The service of Lessons and Carols was first celebrated at several prominent English churches in the beginning of the 20th century—most notably King’s College, Cambridge. This heartwarming service intersperses readings from Scripture with choral masterworks and carols of the Christmas season. Timothy McDonnell, music director.
Tuesday, December 10: Hillsdale Wind Symphony Annual Fall Concert
7:30 p.m., Markel Auditorium (Fine Arts Building)
Something for everyone, with a little bit of Christmas.
