The history curriculum follows the traditional and time-tested method of teaching history, reading original texts (in translation when necessary) and combining lectures with discussion in the classroom.

History Major
The history major consists of 27 credits beyond the college core, with at least 15 credits from the following courses.

At least nine credit hours total, three credit hours from each category

American History
At least six credit hours total, three credit hours from each section
