Commencement 2020

Welcome back to Hillsdale College for Commencement 2020!

A tradition that dates back to the middle ages, commencement is the conferral of a degree: it changes one’s status, publicly recognizes the change, and honors the achievement. So essential a culmination to college education is commencement that every year since Hillsdale College was founded, in war and in peace, depression and pandemic, it has celebrated commencement.

This year, we do so again.
