Finding Home In The ICE House

As a freshman, you’re never fully confident in the choices that you make or the person you’re becoming. My actions lacked consistency and clarity my entire first semester at Hillsdale, and it was all I could do to keep my head above water while I balanced classes, tennis, and budding friendships.

A Friendly Place

Hillsdale has always been a friendly place for incoming freshmen, but it can be difficult to adjust to life without your family in a community of people you don’t know. Luckily for me, my basketball teammates played a huge part in my integration into the college life.

Remembering Where I Came From
