Homecoming at Hillsdale College is an all-out marathon in which every dorm, Greek organization and athletic team compete in a series of competitions that take place throughout the week leading up to the homecoming football game. Perhaps the most celebrated of these events is an annual dance-off called Mock Rock.

After arriving on campus for freshman orientation, Hillsdale has been exceeding Claudia Sladick’s expectations. She aspires to study Politics and Economics and has already gotten involved in groups such as the Conservative Women’s Club and Praxis.

Convinced of his alma mater’s excellence, Nathan Conroy notes “only a select few are admitted to Hillsdale College, and I’m proud to be one of those ‘chosen few’ who are called upon to represent all that Hillsdale stands for.”

Lover of Austen, Brontë, and Teaching

Dr. Eadie teaches a number of English classes at Hillsdale College, including Great Books and Restoration and Romantic British Literature. She specializes in eighteenth-century literature, which she applies by teaching classes centered around Jane Austen and Emily Brontë.

The Hillsdale College Hostel Program

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Hillsdale College Hostel program. Throughout these years, there have been thousands of people who have participated in the events.
