The Aquatic Ecology and Palaeoecology Research program is led by Dr. Anthony Swinehart and focuses on wetland palaeoecology and ecological succession of aquatic ecosystems.
Many of the students who participate in this program receive awards at scientific conferences for their research presentations and go on to prepare manuscripts for publication.
As part of this research program, students and faculty regularly conduct at Hillsdale College’s G. H. Gordon Biological Station in Luther, Michigan.
