Hillsdale College Announces March Fine Arts Events
Upcoming events include a guest violin recital, a student art exhibition, and Celtic fiddle music.
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College is pleased to announce another exciting month of plays, concerts, and other fine arts events open to members of our local community.

Thursday, March 6: Ethan Graham Piano and Composition Senior Recital
8 p.m. | Conrad Recital Hall
Monday, March 17: Daniel Tacke Faculty Harpsichord Recital
8 p.m. | Conrad Recital Hall
Daniel Tacke, chairman and associate professor of music, will perform a selection of works highlighting the unique sonority of the early Italian harpsichord. He will be joined by Kátia Sherman, recorder.
Friday, March 21: Violin and Viola Virtuosi
8 p.m. | Markel Auditorium
Join us for a fun evening filled with a wide range of short encore pieces and Celtic fiddle tunes.
Saturday, March 22: David Briggs Guest Organ Recital
3 p.m. | Christ Chapel
World-renowned organist David Briggs will present a recital in Christ Chapel, showcasing the magnificent instruments by Paul Fritts and Co.
Friday, March 28: Henry Hansen Senior Piano Recital
7 p.m. | McNamara Rehearsal Hall
Friday, March 28: Ramona Collins Guest Vocal Performance
8 p.m. | Plaster Auditorium
Ramona Collins, vocalist, with Paul Keller, Larry Ochiltree, Bijan Taghavi, and Chris McCourry
Saturday, March 29: Aaron Berofsky Guest Violin Recital
8 p.m. | Conrad Recital Hall
Violinist Aaron Berofsky has toured extensively throughout the United States and abroad, gaining wide recognition as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed the complete cycle of Mozart violin sonatas at the International Festival Deia in Spain and has appeared in such renowned venues as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Het Doelen, L’Octogone, the Teatro San Jose, and the Museo de Bellas Artes. He is presently professor of violin at the University of Michigan and chair of strings at Chautauqua Institution. He is joined for this concert by his sons, Sebastian Berofsky, cello, and Charles Berofsky, piano.
