Hillsdale College Announces President’s Club Scholarship Recipients
The scholarship is awarded to seniors who are active on campus and dedicated to their studies.
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College is pleased to announce that Katherine Edison, Phaedra Kelley, Augustine Matheson, and Catherine Worachek have been awarded the President’s Club Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year.
“These students have contributed significantly to our campus community both inside and outside the classroom,” said Maree Socha, director of parent relations and President’s Club programs. “We are pleased to honor them with this scholarship in recognition of their commitment and diligence.”

The scholarship is awarded to seniors who are active on campus and dedicated to their studies. It is funded entirely through the generous contributions of members of the Hillsdale College President’s Club.
Katherine Edison ’26 of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is pursuing a major in art and a minor in biology. At Hillsdale, she is the co-founder and president of the Hillsdale College intercollegiate running club, as well as member of the Alpha Rho Tau art honorary and the Rehab Sciences Club. She also serves as resident assistant in her dormitory, works at Penny’s coffee shop, and volunteers with the Hillsdale Buddy Program.
Phaedra Kelley ’26 of Dripping Springs, Texas, is pursuing majors in German and art. At Hillsdale, she belongs to the Delta Phi Alpha German honorary, the Alpha Rho Tau art honorary, and the archery club. She volunteers with A Few Good Men.
Augustine Matheson ’26 of Vermillion, Ohio, is pursuing a major in economics and a minor in finance. At Hillsdale, he is also a founding member of the club golf team and a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and the Catholic Society. He also plays intramural sports, volunteers at Crossroads Farm, and leads a crew for A Few Good Men.
Catherine Worachek ’26 of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, is pursuing a major in rhetoric and media and a minor in classical education. At Hillsdale, she is the vice president of the Chi Omega sorority, the student team lead for External Affairs, and a member of the Catholic Society.
