Hillsdale College Announces President’s Club Scholarship Recipients
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College is pleased to announce that Rachel Hintze, Colin Smith, Lucy Potter, and Ethan Renstrom were awarded the President’s Club Scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded to seniors who are active on campus and dedicated to their studies. It is funded entirely through the generous contributions of members of the Hillsdale College President’s Club.
“These students have worked hard both inside and outside the classroom,” said Maree Socha, director of parent relations and President’s Club programs. “Hillsdale College is honored to award them President’s Club Scholarship in recognition of their commitment and diligence.”

Rachel Hintze is a senior philosophy major and graphic design minor from Chandler, Arizona. At Hillsdale, she sings with InterVarsity’s Soma Ministries, serves on the creative team for the Student Activities Board, and belongs to the Green Gables Bible Study.
Colin Smith is a senior accounting major from Swanton, Ohio. At Hillsdale, he belongs to the Powerlifting Club and works on campus in the Sage Center.
Lucy Potter is a senior English major from Downers Grove, Illinois. At Hillsdale, she is a member of The Lyceum, the Catholic Society, and the Collegiate Scholars Program. She works at the Contact Center.
Ethan Renstrom is a senior psychology major from Maple Valley, Washington. At Hillsdale, he is a member of a member of the Psi Chi psychology honorary and The Federalist Society. He serves as songmaster in the Mu Alpha music fraternity; works as a collaborative pianist in the Music Department, Theatre Department, and numerous programs across campus; and volunteers as a teaching assistant at Mary Randall Preschool.
