Hillsdale College Documentary ‘Revolutionary America’ Available for Streaming
The film explores the Revolution through the eyes of early Americans.
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College’s first feature-length documentary, “Revolutionary America,” is now available for streaming on YouTube and the Hillsdale College website. The film explores the Revolution through the eyes of early Americans, highlighting the experiences and principles that animated their fight for independence, self-government, and lasting republic.
“As we approach the 250th anniversary of American Independence, ‘Revolutionary America’ will help Americans to understand the purpose of the Revolution and the nature of the conflict,” said Jeremiah Regan, executive producer of Revolutionary America and of Online Learning at Hillsdale College. “Our Founding, which was possible due to the wisdom, faith, and courage of our forefathers, is the most remarkable political achievement in history.”

The documentary, produced by Hillsdale Studios, was shown in theatres from May 31 through June 2.
The film features Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn and Hillsdale faculty members John Grant, Wilfred McClay, Paul Moreno, Kevin Slack, and Thomas West, along with Michael J. Knowles, John Lovell and Eric Metaxas. The film features primary source accounts, an original score, evocative artwork, and dynamic visual effects.
