Hillsdale College’s Halter Center Opens Expanded AcuSport Grille
The Grille will now be open year-round with an expanded menu featuring locally sourced ingredients.
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College’s AcuSport Grille reopened on Tuesday, April 22, with an expanded menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant, located in the AcuSport Lodge at Hillsdale’s John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center, will now be open year-round.
“The Halter Center and the AcuSport Grille is thrilled to offer farm-to-table freshness at an affordable price,” said Range Manager Matt Little. “The delicious new menu options will appeal to both our shooters and the entire community. We are excited to welcome everyone back, and we look forward to serving our guests year-round with catering, events, and a dine-in experience that hits the mark every time.”
The Grille’s hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Reservations are not required.

About the John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center
The Halter Center is a state-of-the-art shooting facility located five miles from the Hillsdale College campus. Opened in 2008, the Center aims to introduce individuals to shooting sports and encourage interest across all levels of experience. The Halter Center also serves an educational purpose by promoting the principles of the Constitution and teaching beginner and experienced shooters in various classes. Home to Hillsdale College’s collegiate shooting teams and the USA national team, the Halter Center is also a resource for the public through camps, conferences, and other programming. Hillsdale College has been the home of the USA Shooting National Team since 2019 and has hosted USA Shooting Junior Olympic Trap and Skeet development camps and championships. The Center boasts 113 range acres, four international skeet fields, a 23-station sporting clays course, five international bunkers, a small arms range, an action shooting range, a five-stand range, an international archery range, nine American Trap fields, and the AcuSport Grille.
