Kirsten Mapes

Kirsten is a registered nurse who earned her B.S.N. from Chamberlain University in Cleveland, OH. After graduation, she began her career in the neonatal intensive care unit at Metro Health in Cleveland before transitioning into travel nursing. Throughout her career, Kirsten has supported various hospitals facing staff shortages, including Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, DMC-Hutzel Women’s Hospital, and Akron Children’s Hospital. Before joining Hillsdale College, she worked in labor and delivery at Hillsdale Hospital. Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her husband and three children on their farm, where they love exploring the woods, caring for their animals, and enjoying the outdoors together.
