Biography
Dr. Cameron Moore grew up in rural Kansas, completed his B.A. at Spring Arbor University in Michigan, and took his Ph.D. from Baylor University. He then taught at Spring Arbor University as well as for the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. He began lecturing at Hillsdale in 2021 and started teaching full time at the college in 2023. Dr. Moore’s research interests lie in modern British literature, and he writes on G.K. Chesterton, but he especially enjoys teaching the Great Books sequence at Hillsdale College. Reading Homer, Dante, Shakespeare, and O’Connor with freshmen and sophomores every year offers a chance to confess again with them the twofold purpose of literature: to teach and to delight.
