Libraries have always held a special place in my heart. Growing up in small town Nebraska the local library was my gateway to other worlds and places. This time spent at the library instilled a love of learning and a desire to share that love with others.  My infatuation with these institutions was strengthened by my time here, at Hillsdale, as a student. Studying history, amongst other subjects, provided me ample opportunity to become acquainted with the library not just as a place to find books, but as a repository of the collected wisdom and research of previous and current scholars.
