Today, Hillsdale College launched its new free online course, “The Genesis Story: Reading Biblical Narratives.” The course is taught by Professor of English Justin Jackson, with an introduction by Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn. Over six lectures, the course examines the primary narratives in the book of Genesis, including the stories of Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, Abraham and Isaac, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph.

The paper, “Small-Dollar Lending Innovation and the True Cost of Credit,” highlights the benefit of small-dollar lending services for those living paycheck-to-paycheck.
On Wednesday, July 17, Hillsdale College’s Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship will host a lecture from author and historian Wilfred M. McClay as part of the AWC Family Foundation Lecture series. McClay’s lecture will focus on his new book, Land of Hope: An Invitation to the Great American Story, which explores the events, circumstances, and people that shaped the American nation as we know it.
