HILLSDALE, Mich. — As a part of its 171st Commencement Ceremony, Hillsdale College recognized the top five academic graduates of the Class of 2023 and the Outstanding Senior Man and Woman. The Outstanding Senior Man and Woman are nominated by the senior class and voted on by the faculty.

Hillsdale College Symphony Orchestra Performs Final Concert of the School Year
HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College Symphony Orchestra performed its final concert of the 2022-2023 school year on Friday, May 12, the evening before commencement. Parents, students, faculty and staff, and members of the community attended the concert in Christ Chapel.
Hillsdale College Breaks Ground on New Graduate School of Classical Education
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College celebrated the groundbreaking for the new Diana Davis Spencer Graduate School of Classical Education on May 12. The building will house the graduate program in classical education, which first held classes in August 2022. Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn and Dean of the Graduate School of Classical Education Daniel Coupland provided remarks.

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College held its third annual White & Blue Alumni Weekend from May 18 to 21. “The White & Blue Weekend is meant to bring old friends back to campus and to honor some of our most distinguished alumni” said Colleen McGinness, executive director of Alumni Relations. “This year’s weekend was a hit. Taylor. Hillsdale College President Dr. Larry P. Arnn awarded the honorary degrees.

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College announces the winners of the third annual Robert H. and Susan M. Rewoldt Essay Contest in Politics. Students Jonah Apel, Elizabeth Crawford, and Maggie Hroncich took first, second, and third place, respectively. Their essays were written on the topic: “What is the right relationship between the news media and free political institutions?”

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College announces the launch of a new podcast, The Imprimis Podcast, which will feature audio versions of printed Imprimis issues. The podcast will be hosted on the college’s new integrated Hillsdale College Podcast Network, which features several other podcasts, including The Larry P. Arnn Show, The Radio Free Hillsdale Hour, The Hillsdale Dialogues, and The Hillsdale College K-12 Classical Education Podcast.
